~A letter~

A letter to those who struggle to see a future ahead:

It will be okay.
Those nights where you feel so alone and worthless will lessen and inevitably cease to exist.
One night you will resist the urge to harm yourself and it will be the biggest step you ever have taken and ever will take.
It will lead somewhere you thought would never cross your path.
One day you will wake up in the morning and hear the birds singing and the sun shining and realize everything is alright.
Someday all those heartbreaks and heartless goodbyes will be fine print in the back of your mind, and better, bolder text will be on the front page.
The day you decide to put down the pills and pick up a Bible is the day that everything falls into place.
You will wake up one morning and you will see your spouse laying next to you and you will feel so much overwhelming love for them that you will see why all those people who tried to win your heart failed.
One day you will look up and realize how miraculous rain really is, the molecular drops of liquid just falling in an exquisite pattern from great water mists in the sky.
You will see how great our God is, and that He allowed you to see those things.
Why we take them for granted? We will never know. We have yet to understand the depth and definition of the human race. We just accept things as they are with no intention to learn how they came to be or Who made them be.
We just see and accept.
But you must dig deeper, my friend. Dig to solve those great unknown mysteries that lie beyond your knowledge. Grab that shovel known as the Bible and dig. Let yourself be embraced by His Word and be amazed. Because life was not always how it is now. It will never ever be this amazing and easy and complicated and difficult as it is now.
Complexity is what defines every situation. Complexity is the definition of every problem known to man but only God has the answer.   You must accept the things not because they are there to accept, but accept them as God seeks for you to accept them. Accept them as things God has created perfectly, and we need not accept them for anything other. Just the fact that He made them. That is what will get you through so much, is acceptance.
Accept His plan for you. Accept that this gigantic puddle in the middle of the highway is necessary for the journey. God placed the puddles and potholes for a reason, and He will direct you around them.
Jeremiah 29:11
“for know the plans i have for you” says the Lord. “plans to prosper you, not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future.”
