I was reading on Facebook earlier today, and stumbled upon something horrifying and terrible.

A young girl, freshman in high school, committed suicide. Some friends of hers posted inappropriate videos of her and she killed herself because of it.

In no way, shape,or form was it okay for those girls to post things like that. They should have been punished severely. But that isn’t what i am going to talk about tonight.

Suicide.

The ever-so-familiar word in today’s times.

“Young girl commits suicide at age of 13”

“Teen commits suicide from bullying”

“Girl commits suicide from depression/anxiety/PTSD”

It isn’t uncommon to see those in your everyday newsfeed.

It is considered normal for teens and young adults to think of suicide on a daily basis. The only excuse being that they have no other choice.

I saw the other day that an 11 year old girl killed herself because of bullying. ELEVEN YEARS OLD. why? Pray tell me why in the world an eleven year old would throw her life away?

It makes me want to cry.

wether it was murder, abortion, or suicide, it is the same. It is all the same. Day after day, the lives that were placed on this earth by God and God alone are being taken at the hands of others and themselves. This is not who we were made to be. They could have been someone, they could have done SOMETHING to fix this mess of a world we are in. And they kill it. The chance for something greater. Its gone.

That girl could have been the greatest president, or lawyer, or writer. But she is not going to be those things because she let the devil in her head. He killed her.

It’s too much! Too much mind and not enough thought. Too many stereotypes and too many influences. Too many knives and not enough pillows. Too much satan and not enough God.

This world is a mess. Our young people are a mess. Our very ground on which we stand is a mess.

i am babbling. I had an idea and now that idea is kind of sprawled across a page. But i feel like i need to leave you with this.

There is no greater gift than life itself, and you only get one.

It is hard, and there will be and have been low times. But you always always come out of them. God put you here for a reason. No more saying “i need a sign not to kill myself tonight”, because that is reason alone. That is the only thing you should be thinking. You are here for a reason.

Dont throw away your life because of words. Don’t throw away someone elses life because they weren’t planned. Don’t end someones life out of anger.

Pray for our country, pray for our young people, pray for the lost and the saved.

Just pray tonight for everyone.
